Women with Rokitansky syndrome experience puberty and normal development of the secondary sexual characteristics. However, menstruation does not happen due to the absence of the uterus.
Other common symptoms are the difficulty of vaginal penetration or pain in maintaining sexual relations, due to the lack or partial lack of the vagina.
