Amnioscopy is an exploration technique that is carried out at the end of pregnancy, specifically, from the 37th week of gestation. Through this test, the status of the fetus can be evaluated based on the color of the amniotic fluid.

In this way, if the amniotic fluid has a dark color, it would be indicative of possible fetal distress. Also, if the color of the amniotic fluid is red-yellow, there could be stillbirth. On the other hand, if the amniotic fluid is colorless, everything would be fine.
