Artificial intelligence and embryo selection

Artificial intelligence (AI) models also have their usefulness in the field of assisted reproduction, for example, for embryo selection. Artificial intelligence can:

• Differentiate between normal and abnormal fertilization.
• Predict blastocyst development.
• Help distinguish between a euploid embryo and an aneuploid embryo.

All this would allow improving the selection of the embryo to be transferred, which is so important when the trend is to transfer a single embryo.
