In order for an artificial insemination at home to be possible, the semen must be mixed with a physiological saline solution before inserting it to the syringe. Then, the woman has to lie down in order for it to be inserted in the vagina. This is the most challenging of all steps involved, and we recommend that you do it aided by another person, as it is difficult for another person to self-insert a syringe vaginally.
It is also fundamental that the woman lies in a comfortable position that allows her to insert the syringe with the semen in the vagina and/or uterine cavity.
