Bicornuate uterus is a uterine malformation caused by the formation of two cavities, but the horns are not fully developed. This malformation of the uterus is congenital, that is, it appears from birth.
This type of uterus is also called heart-shaped uterus. In addition, the bicornuate uterus can be complete or partial.
