A cystadenoma is a benign tumor that appears in the ovary and has a variable size. This type of tumor is diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasound since most women have no symptoms, i.e. it is an asymptomatic tumor.

The most common treatment for cystadenoma is surgery by laparoscopy. In addition, a cystectomy can be performed if possible.
