Dystocic labor is one that requires medical instruments and medical intervention for the baby to be born.

The causes that can originate from this type of delivery are very diverse, it can even be due to the mother or the baby, but all of them have as a consequence that the baby cannot descend through the mother's uterus.

These complications cause the delivery to be prolonged excessively in time, causing the baby to spend more time than considered normal, trying to leave the uterine cavity. This can cause damage and suffering to both the mother and the baby. That is why the intervention of specialists is necessary for this type of complication to be successfully resolved.
