Women in need of donor-egg IVF must be younger than 50 in order to be accepted into the egg donation program of Spanish fertility clinics.
Aside from age, one should keep in mind that, in Spain, egg donors are anonymous, and as such, the matching process is done by the fertility clinic based on the physical and immunological characteristics of both the recipient and the donor.
