Ovarian insufficiency

Ovarian insufficiency (a.k.a. ovarian failure) is one of the most common reasons why a women needs to use donor eggs to have a baby. It may be of congenital origin or, conversely, acquired after enduring cancer treatments or when an ovary has been surgically removed.
