How many donor intrauterine insemination (IUI) attempts should we try?

Michelle Emblenton, a biochemist at inviTRA, tells us about the number of artificial insemination attempts with donor sperm:

Well, the general recommendation for this is between three and six attempts depending on your particular situation. Nevertheless, most clinics don't recommend this treatment if you are over 38 to 40 years old, as it doesn't have a high probability of success.
