The main tests for studying female fertility are as follows:
- Blood tests where different hormones are analyzed, such as FSH, LH, estradiol, Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), TSH, prolactin, and progesterone.
- Test to evaluate tubal patency known as hysterosalpingography.
- Ultrasound with antral follicle count (AFC).

Although these are the basic tests in the study of female fertility, it is also possible to request complementary tests such as karyotype analysis, a hysteroscopy, or an endometrial biopsy if the specialist considers it appropriate.
