Couvade syndrome is a syndrome that can occur in the father and is characterized by the man having certain symptoms of pregnancy at the same time as his pregnant partner.
Among the symptoms that the male with Couvade syndrome may present are nausea and vomiting, cravings, mood swings, weight gain and fatigue. Testosterone levels also decrease, while prolactin increases.
