Retrograde ejaculation is a condition characterized by semen going into the bladder. So, when a man ejaculates, the sperm does not exit through the urethra as it normally would. This disorder affects a man's reproductive capacity, but it generally does not have additional effects on his health.
The occurrence of retrograde ejaculation in men is often associated with previous surgery, for example, on the prostate or bladder. However, it is not the only reason. Some diseases such as diabetes or multiple sclerosis can also cause retrograde ejaculation.
On the other hand, retrograde ejaculation does not affect the degree of sexual satisfaction. Men with retrograde ejaculation will still have erections and reach climax.
