Home methods to know the sex of the baby

Knowing the sex of the baby that is on the way, once it is known that everything is fine, is a common curiosity of parents. Therefore, there are several methods, simply based on popular belief and without scientific basis, to try to predict whether it will be a boy or a girl. Among these home methods are:

• The shape of the pregnant woman's belly.
• The ring method.
• The oil test.
• The bicarbonate test.
• Cravings, depending on whether the preference is for sweet or salty.

However, these methods have no scientific basis and should be performed only as a game. Confirmation of the baby's sex will come from a test such as an ultrasound.
