It is common for parents to be very curious about whether they are expecting a boy or a girl, although some couples decide that they would rather not know until the time of delivery. In the case of wanting to predict the sex of the baby, there are some popular methods such as the following:
- The presence of nausea or headache.
- The appearance of hair and body hair growth.
- Cold feet.
- The number of the baby's heartbeats per minute.
- The Chinese chart and the Mayan chart.
Since these methods do not pose any risk, some couples decide to use them. However, the result should be interpreted as a gamble, since these methods lack scientific evidence. The ultrasound will be the test that usually reveals whether the baby is a boy or a girl.
