Recommendations for a new mother during pregnancy

It is common for a first-time pregnant woman to have doubts and insecurities, as she wants to do the best she can for herself and, of course, for her baby. Therefore, some useful recommendations to take into account in the pregnancy of a new mother would be:

  • Go for a preconception visit with the specialist.
  • Have healthy habits.
  • Eat small but frequent meals to alleviate digestive discomfort typical of pregnancy.
  • Do physical exercise adapted to pregnancy and take care of your posture.
  • Do not self-medicate.
  • Go to prenatal check-ups.
  • Ask your specialist if you have any doubts.
  • Rest.
  • Prepare everything you need for when the baby arrives.

However, these are general recommendations during pregnancy and you should always follow the indications given by the specialist, since he/she is the one who best knows your particular situation.
