Egg donation at GW Medical Faculty Associates Fertility Center

    Hi,

    I’m Eliane and 44 years old. I’m from WA and looking for egg donation IVF. I read about the GW but I can’t find information about egg donation in this center. Has anyone experience with this center regarding this fertility treatment? Or any other suggestions for WA?

    there are a few fertility clinics in Washington that offer egg donation IVF. We from inviTRA recommend visiting at least 2 or 3 fertility centers in order to compare your impressions of each one. In our clinic directory you’ll get an overview of all centers in your area.

  3. Hi Eliane,

    I was a patient at GW Medical Faculty Associates. I suffered from implantation failures and struggled for years to get pregnant. I had a pre-implantation Genetic Screening and a blastocyst culture. So I was successful finally at the first IVF cycle which I wasn’t able to achieve at other fertility clinics. So, I definitely would recommend the clinic to you.

  4. Popsicle33 how did your PGS go? I have colon cancer running in my family. I absolutely don’t want my future child to inherit this predisposition. Do you think it might be possible to get PGS? Or is it applied for chromosomic disorders like down syndrome only?

    • Hi Clarita,

      actually, this is difficult to answer. A more recent application of PGD is to diagnose late-onset diseases and (cancer) predisposition syndromes. Since affected individuals remain healthy until the onset of the disease, frequently in the fourth decade of life, there is debate on whether or not PGD is appropriate in these cases.
