    Hi folks,

happy new year first of all. Hope everyone is well.

I just saw the clinic profile of Assisted Fertility Program. Does someone have any experience with this clinic? I’m also open to other suggestions of fertility clinics in Jacksonville since my wife and I live here. Some background stories: We have been trying to conceive naturally for one year and nothing happened. We blamed it on the pandemic at first.

However, we are starting to worry if there’s more to this than simple stress. So we would like to get our fertility tested. Any information as to how this works would be highly appreciated, too.

    Thanks in advance
    Jim

  2. Hi Jim,

generally speaking, we speak of infertility when a couple has been struggling to get pregnant for at least 12 months. From now on, it’s high time you visit a fertility doctor to determine the causes of your fertility issues. During this consultation, both you and your wife will be going through different exams.

For example, female fertility testing consists of a blood test and a gynecological exam. If needed, the doctor may request complimentary tests if the other results came out negative. Read more here: Female Fertility Tests – How Do You Know if You Can’t Get Pregnant?

As for male fertility testing, the doctor will require a blood test as well as a semen analysis in order to determine if there are any anomalies in your semen that might prevent conception.
