Hi there
I’m from Sacramento, California, and looking for IVF treatment in Sacramento or surroundings. First of all, I would like to know how much an IVF cycle would cost me (out-of-pocket, currently without health insurance) and also would love to compare different fertility centers here.
01/27/2020 at 9:51 amHi you,
I paid approx. $11,600 at the Pacific Fertility Center for the IVF procedure itself.
However, you have to take into account that the costs may vary if you need any complementary treatments such as assisted hatching or if you want to freeze and store your surplus eggs.
Btw: fertility medication is also charged extra!! they might cost you another $5,000-$10,000!!

Hello Californiangirls,
the costs of an in vitro fertilization treatment (IVF) depend on various factors such as type of In vitro fertilization (low medication IVF, classic IVF, IVF/ICSI), your fertility medication, additional techniques such as assisted hatching, blastocyst culture, egg freezing, etc. On average, you have to expect a cost of approximately $15,000.
However, lots of fertility centers offer fertility financing options or discount programs. Read more about in vitro fertilization and its cost here: What Is in Vitro Fertilization (IVF)? Process, Costs & Success Rates.
If you’re interested in scheduling a fertility consultation, I encourage you to have a look at our clinic directory where you can compare different fertility centers in California and obtain useful information about the fertility treatments, their costs, success rates and patient’s opinion of each center.
Hope this helps,
all the best
