Hi, I need your help urgently, please!!!

My period is 11 days late and I did a blood pregnancy test which luckily was positive but yesterday I took a quantitative hCG test and it said 1248. I don’t understand very well the reference values, so kindly if an expert could help me… Please, I need to find out whether I’m pregnant and if so how many weeks pregnant am I…

    Thank you in advance,

    Taylor Green

  2. Hello,

According to the result you obtained, it appears that you are pregnant. Moreover, it may indicate that you’re around 4 weeks pregnant. Here you can find an approximate hCG levels chart showing the average hCG levels in normal pregnancy:

    Weeks of pregnancyhCG level miu/ml
    3-49-130
    4-575-2600
    5-6*********0
    6-74000-100200
    7-121*********
    12-1618*********000
    16-19 (2nd trimester)1*********00
    19-41 (3rd trimester)*********0

In any case, my recommendation is that you visit your gynecologist to clear your doubts. Here you can find further information about this topic as well: The pregnancy hormone: Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (beta-hCG).

    Good luck!
