Hi! We heard we could both be involved in the pregnancy. We had no idea! That’s great, but we don’t really know how this reciprocal IVF thing works. We’re looking at fertility clinic options here in Arizona. Someone has done reciprocal IVF at advanced fertility care? Can you tell us a little bit about what it is or the steps to follow?

  2. Hi Lidia,

nice to meet you! We went to the Arizona Center for Fertility Studies a few months ago for a first visit and also to Advanced Fertility Care to compare among both clinics. We felt that at AFC they explained everything a little more clearly, so we’ll continue with them. They also collaborate with our health care provider which makes financing a little easier. I can only tell you that one of you provide the eggs and the other one carries the pregnancy to term, so we’re all involved here, haha.

    • Thank you so much, Romina. The article you suggested was very useful, now we know what to expect. Also looked at the report and I like that a budget is included so we won’t have to face any unpleasant surprises, haha.
