Many parents wonder what is the right age for their baby to stop wearing a diaper. However, there is no specific age; it will depend on the baby's maturity.
Some of the signs that indicate that the baby is ready to stop wearing a diaper are as follows:
- The diaper stays clean for 2-3 hours.
- He/she begins to be uncomfortable in the diaper.
- He is already doing certain things on his own and can pull his pants up and down without help.
- Is curious about the toilet and what his parents and older siblings (if any) are doing there.
If all, or most, of these signs are observed, your baby is most likely ready to start using the potty or toilet (with an adapter to make it comfortable for him to use).
