As one shall see, in young women (35 years of age of less), IVF is successful in 40 percent of the cases, a percentage that decreases as the patient gets older.
From age 40, we can witness a substantial drop in the success rates—just 10-13% of the patients achieve successful outcomes using their own eggs. More often than not, egg donation may be the solution at this point.
