What is an inconclusive embryo?

Inconclusive or indeterminate embryos are those that cannot be genetically analyzed due to an error in the preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). Therefore, it cannot be said whether these embryos are healthy or, on the contrary, have some genetic alteration that prevents them from being transferred to the woman's uterus.

In these situations, and according to the number of healthy embryos, the doctor will be in charge of evaluating whether or not to transfer an inconclusive embryo.
