Follicular puncture is one phase of the IVF process through which the eggs are obtained in the laboratory. It consists of the aspiration of the follicular liquid with the help of a fine cannula through the vagina. It requires sedation and ultrasound control.
In addition, as it is donor semen, it must be treated because it is stored frozen.
