Menstruation or menstruation can be different from one woman to another and that does not mean anything wrong. However, a menstruation is considered abnormal when:
- Its duration is longer than 8 days.
- The bleeding is too heavy.
- It is repeated every 23 days.
- There is intermenstrual bleeding, i.e. metrorrhagia.
