When platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is introduced into the uterine cavity, its regenerative and angiogenic effects can improve endometrial receptivity and thus increase the chances of pregnancy. In fact, with the infusion of PRP into the uterus, improvements have been observed in:
- Implantation rate.
- Pregnancy rate.
- Live birth rate.
However, more studies are needed to draw clearer and more robust conclusions about these improvements that PRP can offer in fertility treatments.
