During pregnancy, it is advisable to avoid high-intensity physical activity, as well as competitive sports that could involve blows or falls.
In case of more intense exercises, these should not be prolonged for more than 15 minutes, nor should they be practiced in hot and humid weather due to the risk of dehydration.
It is also important to avoid balance exercises with risk of falls or abdominal trauma, especially during the third trimester of pregnancy.
