Water sports such as swimming provide multiple benefits for pregnant women, as they allow the whole body to work without putting pressure on the joints. In addition, women who already have a fairly large belly due to advanced pregnancy will feel very light and comfortable while floating in the water. The same applies to aqua aerobics.
Walking during pregnancy also helps reduce leg swelling and improve blood circulation. Outdoor walks also offer a moment of relaxation and disconnection for the expectant mother.
Whatever sport is practiced during pregnancy, it is important to always wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
