Tips to relieve back pain in pregnancy

Many pregnant women suffer from back pain or discomfort during pregnancy. Following a series of simple recommendations can help alleviate this discomfort. Among them are the following:

  • Do physical exercise, if not contraindicated by the specialist.
  • Go to physiotherapy.
  • Do not stand for long periods of time.
  • Sleep on your side, with a cushion between your knees.
  • Use low-heeled shoes.
  • To apply soft heat.

However, if the pain is very strong, persists or occurs with other symptoms, a visit to the gynecologist is recommended.
