Preimplantation genetic testing, also known by its acronym PGT, is a complementary technique in in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments that allows for the selection of embryos that do not present the genetic alteration being studied. This improves the probability of IVF success.
The main indications for PGT include advanced maternal age, repeated miscarriages, implantation failure, etc.
