There is a wide range of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Among the most prevalent STDs are chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, genital herpes, HIV/AIDS infection, hepatitis B and C, human papillomavirus (HPV) and trichomoniasis, among others.
Each of these STDs will cause a number of symptoms, although sometimes they are asymptomatic.
