Effects of toxoplasmosis on sperm

When a male has toxoplasmosis, the parasite can interact with the sperm and produce certain alterations. Among them, a high proportion of headless sperm, with bent tails, and, in addition, disruptions in the plasma membrane that covers them have been observed.
