Changes in the pregnant woman's skin begin to become visible in the 22nd week of pregnancy if it has not done so previously. Red spots may appear on the woman's face or neck. However, these spots usually disappear after the baby is born.
Another fairly common skin change is the appearance of stretch marks. It is therefore essential to keep the skin moisturized to reduce the appearance of stretch marks after the skin stretches as the fetus grows.
