When an embryo transfer is performed, some patients notice slight discomfort, while others do not. This is not indicative of the success or failure of the reproductive treatment. However, there are certain warning signs that, if present, it would be advisable to consult with the specialist:
- Very heavy vaginal bleeding
- Acute pelvic abdominal pain
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Difficulty breathing
