Requirements for artificial insemination

The necessary requirements to be able to perform an artificial insemination and achieve a safe pregnancy are:

  • Infection-free sample.
  • Tubal patency, otherwise the sperm will not be able to reach the egg for fertilization to occur.
  • Good seminal quality.
  • Age of the woman less than 36-37 years old and good ovarian reserve.
