Following the basal body temperature method to estimate the day of ovulation and fertile days has a number of advantages, among which we can highlight:
- Natural.
- Simple.
- Economical.
- Risk free.
However, it also has some disadvantages, such as detecting the increase in basal temperature when ovulation has already occurred and, therefore, the fertile days have already passed. In addition, the basal temperature method can be inaccurate and ineffective.
