The collection of stem cells from the umbilical cord should be performed immediately after the birth of the baby, in order to extract as many cells as possible.
By collecting the umbilical cord blood it is possible to perform blood tests such as measuring bilirubin levels, performing a blood culture, etc. In addition, it is possible to store this blood in an authorized bank.
