Ways to warm bottles

The oldest and most traditional way to heat baby bottles is the bain-marie. This involves placing the bottle in a container with water and putting it on the stove. Before the water begins to boil, the bottle must be removed.

However, nowadays there is another, faster way to warm bottles. The bottle warmer is an electric device that allows bottles to be heated automatically and uniformly quite quickly, unlike the bain-marie.

Another alternative would be to use a microwave to warm bottles. However, this method is only recommended for special occasions and when the bottle is made of glass. If the bottle is made of plastic and heated in the microwave, microplastics can be released and contaminate the contents of the bottle.
