Breastfeeding is the form of neonatal feeding preferred by most mothers. In addition, breastfeeding is considered by the WHO as the perfect way to feed the baby and promote their proper growth and development, as it will provide all the nutrients needed for it.
The general recommendations indicate that the baby should only be breastfed for at least the first 6 months of life and preferably until the age of 2 years.
