The fact that the sperm DNA is damaged can affect different assisted reproduction treatments, such as artificial insemination, conventional IVF, and ICSI.
This damage to the sperm DNA is what is known as sperm DNA fragmentation, and it can be measured using different tests, such as SCSA, SCD, TUNEL, or Comet.
