Diabetes mellitus and thyroid gland problems are the most common endocrine disease that exist today. Given that these diseases translate into hormonal imbalances, they can compromise the woman's menstrual cycle, as well as other metabolic processes that take care in the organism.
Endocrine disorders, on the one hand, can cause infertility, and on the other hand, can affect the normal development of pregnancy. For this reason, all women trying to get pregnant should check their hormone levels to see if everything is working as it should.
