Many couples see themselves forced to use donor eggs to achieve pregnancy due to fertility problems related to the female reproductive cells.
Danish regulations allow access to this technique to just heterosexual couples, thereby excluding single women and lesbian couples. This is because double-donor IVF is a forbidden treatment in Denmark.
