In a retrospective study, certain advantages of the double trigger compared to the classic hCG trigger for the final maturation of eggs after ovarian stimulation in assisted reproduction treatments have been observed. Among these benefits, the following stand out:
- Greater number of eggs.
- More mature eggs.
- Fewer cancellations.
- Better fertilization rate.
- More total embryos.
Therefore, the double trigger is positioned as a very valuable clinical tool to try to improve IVF results.
