An increasing number of patients with fertility problems decide to resort to embryo adoption to achieve a pregnancy. This reproductive treatment has some advantages over other assisted reproduction techniques. Some of them are listed below:
- Greater simplicity, since embryo adoption requires fewer clinic visits than IVF.
- Lower cost.
- Less medication, since the woman receiving the embryos only needs the endometrial preparation. This also means that the price of the treatment will be lower than the rest of the techniques.
- Fast, since embryo adoption has no waiting list. However, the availability of embryos at the centre where it is to be carried out must be taken into account.
