By (psychologist).
Last Update: 02/11/2022

An embryopathy is any alteration in the embryo, either morphological or genetic. The most common causes of these embryopathies are external factors such as infections, metabolic diseases, drugs, exposure to toxins, alcohol consumption, etc.

These alterations in the embryo cause problems in its development, which usually manifest themselves during pregnancy or after delivery.
