Are eggs cultured the same way as embryos?

Broadly speaking, the environmental conditions are almost identical. Although specific culture media are used to meet the particular requirements of the egg or the embryo.

On the other hand, although both are extremely fragile, the egg is even more delicate being a single cell with a very delicate internal structure.
