Does high testicular temperature cause teratozoospermia?

When the testicles receive too much heat, spermatogenesis, i.e. the production of spermatozoa, may be impaired. Therefore, a high temperature in the testicular area would lead to a decrease in the number of spermatozoa, as well as poor sperm motility and poor sperm morphology.

In addition, heat leads to increased sperm DNA fragmentation. Heat could therefore affect a man's fertility and reproductive capacity.
