One of the potential risks of assisted reproduction treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) is the likelihood of multiple pregnancies. However, it is increasingly common to opt for the transfer of a single embryo, thereby reducing the likelihood of multiple pregnancies and the risks associated with them.
