What foods are harmful to male fertility?

Diet plays a crucial role in fertility for both men and women. Therefore, certain foods are recommended to be avoided, as they can negatively affect fertility.

Some foods that harm semen quality and should therefore be avoided by men include the following:

  • Fast food and saturated fats found in pastries or ultra-processed products.
  • Sugary drinks.
  • Processed meats such as cold cuts, sausages, etc.
  • Excessive coffee consumption.
  • Fruits and vegetables contaminated with pesticides.

In addition, smoking and alcohol consumption also have a negative impact on male fertility.
